Mingo Aerospace is pleased to announce expanded capabilities for Bell Helicopter and their supplier network. The recent Bell endorsement expands Mingo’s HVOF services to include chromium carbide coatings (BPS 4551). Additionally, Mingo recently expanded their manufacturing services, adding CNC mills and lathes to the Owasso Oklahoma campus. The expanded capabilities are complementary to the existing conventional and spherical grinding capabilities, offering customers additional options to take advantage of our best-in-class turn-around-time and customer service.

Merit Granted for Thermal Spray Nadcap Audit

Mingo Aerospace has successfully been granted 18-month merit for Nadcap accreditation for Coatings – Thermal Spray and Grinding AC710/1 and AC7109/8. Nadcap merit is reserved for suppliers who demonstrate exemplary audit performance. Merit honor is determined by the Coatings Process Task Group which is made up of technical experts from across the industry.
Mingo Aerospace exhibited the skill, experience, and knowledge necessary to achieve merit on only its third Nadcap Coatings audit. By achieving merit, Mingo will have longer intervals between 3rd party audits and can focus on continuing to refine and improve our coating and grinding processes.
Being audited is good for benchmarking overall quality and capabilities. Mingo Aerospace is proud of our employees who contribute to our success every day and participated in audit preparation and the audit.
